Study Abroad Programs for High Schools, Colleges and Universities: Language Instruction, Cross-Cultural Training and Customized Programs

Languages:
French, Wolof, and English; but also Sereer, Pulaar, Mandinka, Portuguese, Portuguese Creole, Spanish, Arabic and other local languages upon request. We offer intensive classes with lots of individual attention focusing on speaking and comprehension. Classes range from one-on-one tutorials to a maximum class size of six students.

Introduction

Since 1984, ACI’s Baobab Center has worked with over 33 American Colleges and Universities to provide a high quality academic and cultural experience for students. Our staff works closely with each university’s program director to design courses, lectures and thematic visits that meet the credit requirements of the institution and enrich the learning experience. ACI Study Abroad groups have included:

ACI is pleased to announce the publication of a French language Directory of organizations and individuals working in social justice and conflict transformation in Francophone Africa. This directory was produced with funding from USAID and can be downloaded here (36 Mb).

ACI’s Health Department regularly publishes a two page newsletter to share ACI’s innovative experiences.
